Second annual CNC project contest announced

CNC Shark and Piranha Fx users invited to participate.

Next Wave Automation has just started accepting entries for its 2nd Annual CNC Project Contest which runs through May 31, 2016. Every entrant will receive a prize for a complete contest entry with the Grand Prize Winner being awarded a CNC Shark Laser Module valued at $799.00.

There will be a special bonus prize for 4th Axis project entries – all entrants will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card good for Next Wave Automation products. All projects must be made using Next Wave Automation machines.

“Our hobbyist users create so many wonderful projects and our professional woodworker customers and cabinetmakers complete some really beautiful jobs,” says company founder Tim Owens. “CNC machines have really exploded the way people work with wood, plastic and soft metal and we’re celebrating that with our Next Wave Automation 2nd Annual CNC Project Contest.”

Contest rules are simple and straightforward:

  • All projects must be made using Next Wave Automation machines.
  • Enter as many times as you want
  • Submit your high definition photos and contact information to rshapland@nextwaveautomation.com on or before May 31, 2016

The Grand Prize Winner will be judged on creativity and best use of CNC technology and the judges’ decision will be final. The Grand Prize Winner will be awarded a CNC Shark Laser Module valued at $799.00.

Everyone Wins! Just for entering, participants will win an official CNC Shark bottle opener key chain (limit one per person regardless of how many entries are submitted).
