Point of Rental Software Introduces ERP Solution

New software provides customized rental platform for enterprise level companies.

Point of Rental Software has unveiled Point of Rental Elite, an ERP rental management software designed for the world’s largest rental corporations as well as progressive businesses looking for customized programming.

Scalable for any size company, the software incorporates latest technologies and fully integrates with other applications that businesses rely on, such as SalesForce, Rouse Analytics, SmartEquip, DocuSign, MicroSoft CRM, and AEMP Telematics. In addition, by marrying Microsoft Dynamics ERP software with Point of Rental’s ERP solution, Rental Elite leverages the full power of Microsoft Dynamics for business analytics and accounting.

Point of Rental CEO Wayne Harris stated, “With our industry experience, the success of our other products on which to build, and our solid reputation as a leading rental management software provider, Point of Rental is well-positioned to enter the ERP marketplace.”

Two rental businesses, listed 49th and 55th on RER 100 Top Rental Equipment Companies, have already begun using Point of Rental Elite, with the 50th ranked company slated for installation this spring.

Gary Anderson of 55th-ranked Seattle-based Star Rentals reported that his company is already recognizing benefits, including time-savings and business intelligence. “Our primary purpose in going to Point of Rental was that we were using an aging UNIX-based system that the support is dying for,” he said. “The conversion [to Point of Rental] was incredible; all the data came through beautifully and there weren’t any hiccups. They know what they’re doing.”

Harris pointed out that while large corporations are most likely to gravitate toward ERP solutions, Rental Elite is designed for any rental company that demands customized software. “Primarily, it’s designed for those forward-thinking, vanguard companies that need software tailored to fit the way they do business,” Harris said. “To that end, our goal is that Point of Rental Elite isn’t simply known as a software product; rather it is a partnership for the life of a business.”

Listed by Inc. 5000 as one of America’s fastest growing private companies, Point of Rental offers smart, scalable software products to fit the unique demands of rental and inventory management. Headquartered in Grand Prairie, Texas, the company was founded in 1983 and today provides award-winning rental management software to thousands of companies worldwide.
