Nilfisk acquires Pressure-Pro

Florida high-pressure cleaner manufacturer joins Nilfisk family.

The Nilfisk Group has acquired Pressure-Pro Inc., a manufacturer of high-pressure cleaners headquartered in Fort Pierce, Fla.

The acquistion will be effective Jan. 1, 2016. This acquisition further consolidates Nilfisk's position in the U.S. market for high-pressure washers following the acquisition of Hydro Tek Inc. in November 2015, according to a company press release.

Pressure-Pro has a particularly strong portfolio within cold-water pressure washers, and in combination the two acquisitions establish a significant U.S. platform in high-pressure cleaning equipment, Nilfisk said.

According to Jeff Barna, president of Nilfisk-Americas, "The combination of these two pressure washer businesses will provide additional market access and a broader product range within the high pressure washer market. Together they will also drive front-end synergies by combining Pressure-Pro's cold water and Eastern U.S. strongholds with Hydro Tek's hot water and Western U.S. strongholds. We believe that the benefits of our newly combined organization lie within sales growth and business expansion."

Owners Dale Reed and Ryan Reed will remain in the business.

Pressure-Pro, which manufactures both cold and hot water pressure washers, had revenues in 2014 of $40 million and approximately 90 employees. Learn more at www.nilfisk-alto.us.
