Insite Software was among the select companies that Forrester invited to participate in its evaluation leading up to its June 29, 2015 Forrester Wave report, B2B Commerce Sites, Q2 2015. Forrester evaluated vendors against 88 criteria, which were grouped into 3 high-level categories: current offering, strategy, and market presence.

According to Forrester, “Insite Software has made measurable strides since we last reviewed the company in 2013. Still singularly focused on B2B eCommerce and the only major .NET solution provider in the space, Insite’s platform offers functionality that meets or exceeds what more expensive high-end Java-based competitors offer – much of it out of the box. Insite is actively positioning itself as the value offering in the space, particularly for B2B high mid-market and low enterprise companies.”

“B2B companies recognize the enormous opportunity of digital commerce to better connect with their customers and look to Insite Software to help deliver a personalized and connected eCommerce solutions that generate results quickly,” said Tony Abena, chief executive officer, Insite Software. “Our focus has been -- and continues to be -- manufacturers and distributors in the B2B marketplace; partnering with our customers, Insite helps them achieve better business outcomes through a robust eCommerce platform and digital growth services.”

“Insite’s B2B focus and understanding of our industry’s multi-level purchasing structure influenced our decision to select them,” said Andrew Steiner, vice president of Marketing and Customer Operations for AmeriPride Services, a uniform rental and linen supply company. “They speak our language and understand what we want to do. They are a key partner in providing strategic direction, guidance, and best practices in eCommerce.”

According to Forrester, “Insite provides more than adequate B2B eCommerce functionality out of the box, offering particularly strong built-in configuration capabilities. The majority of Insite’s clients use the firms’ integrated web content management system (WCMS), however the firm has developed a strategic integration with Sitecore for enterprise clients demanding more robust customer experience management capabilities.”

Built from an exclusive focus on manufacturing and distribution business-to-business and direct-to-consumer workflows and rules management, Insite Software’s InsiteCommerce platform delivers powerfully connected-commerce experiences across both offline and online channels for major manufacturers and distributors.

The fully responsive-designed platform allows for complex customer-specific inventory, pricing, promotions, quoting, configuration and budget management. It also supports a strong time-to-value deployment, and has pre-built integrations with leading ERP and CRM systems.
