MacArthur adds Infor M3 to gain complete ERP solution
Distributor will standardize processes, speed operations and improve decision making across its 30 branches.
Infor announces that MacArthur Co., a leading provider of construction materials, has selected Infor M3 for Distribution. By implementing Infor M3, MacArthur will benefit from a unified enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution to manage everything from invoicing to inventory across its more than 30 branches.
With both manufacturing and distribution services in its product portfolio, MacArthur currently utilizes Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) to manage the manufacturing side of its business. Infor M3 will seamlessly integrate with the existing solution through Infor ION, a lightweight middleware application, allowing the company to create an enterprise-wide view of operations.
The industry-specific capabilities of Infor M3 will help MacArthur to consolidate and standardize business processes, eliminating paper-based tasks through automated workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
“The solution we previously used to manage the distribution side of operations was antiquated and could not keep pace with company growth. In addition to its integration capabilities, MacArthur selected Infor M3 because of the Infor Implementation Accelerator designed specifically for the distribution-specific edition of the solution, which will help to speed the deployment process managed by Infor Alliance partner, Avaap. This will minimize disruptions to daily operations while the project is in progress and facilitate a faster return on investment for the company.
