Evergreen announces 2015 sales rep workshop schedule

One-day events will take place in Tampa, San Francisco and Dallas.


The Evergreen Marketing Group has selected the 2015 dates and locations for its popular one-day workshops for independent and factory-direct sales reps.

Called “Managing your Relationships with Independent Distribution,” the workshops have been held around the country since 2006 and focus on sharing best practices in working with independent distributors.

In 2015, the workshops will be held:

  • June 3 -- Tampa, FL
  • August 20 -- San Francisco, CA
  • December 9 -- Dallas, TX

“We began holding these workshops in an effort to improve the relationship between independent distributors and the manufacturer sales reps who call on them,” said Evergreen CEO Kevin Higginbotham. “We cover subjects like how a distributor makes money, best methods for communication, and joint marketing and sales planning.”

One of the more popular parts of the workshop is the distributor panel discussion. During the panel discussion a group of Evergreen construction/industrial distributors field questions from workshop attendees.

“The panel discussion is clearly the most popular segment of the program,” said Higginbotham. “We call it ‘amnesty day’ where no question is out of bounds. It’s a great way for a factory or independent rep to hear directly from a group of distributors about the key issues that can impact their relationship.”
