ISA begins search for EVP

Kansas City-based Tryon & Heideman will help identify candidates to replace John Buckley.


Industrial Supply Association president Michael Carr announced that ISA has hired an executive search firm to help identify candidates for its executive vice president position.

According to Carr, Tryon & Heideman Executive Search, based in Kansas City, Mo.,will assist ISA's Search Task Force. Owners Katey Tryon and Mary Heideman, collectively, have more than 40 years of experience working in executive search and with boards of associations, and were also retained 10 years ago to conduct the search when John Buckley was hired as ISA's first executive vice president. Buckley passed away on Feb. 12.

The ISA Search Task Force is currently working with Tryon & Heideman to finalize criteria for the search, which will be posted on the ISA website.
