Quest Specialty Chemicals Names Shymske President, Construction Products
Joins Quest from Victor Oolitic Stone Company.
Quest Specialty Chemicals, a leader in the specialty coatings industry, announced today the appointment of Marjorie (Marj) Shymske as President of Quest Construction Products, a wholly owned subsidiary of Quest Specialty Chemicals.
With over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing and management, with an emphasis on assembling effective teams and successful business expansion, Shymske is an established leader in the building materials industry.
Prior to joining Quest Construction Products, Shymske served as President and CEO of Victor Oolitic Stone Company. She led the successful turnaround and transformation of the firm, from Chapter 11 status through subsequent equity offering and merger. During her 27-year career with Owens Corning, she served in several sales management roles, including Director of Sales.
In her role as President, Shymske will focus on Quest Construction Products’ long-term vision and strategy, while enhancing current business processes.
