Columbus McKinnon will be sponsoring the Industrial Crane & Hoist Conference Scheduled for March 22 in Chicago. The event, taking place at McCormick Place South, will cover a variety of topics related to increasing productivity and promoting safe work practices, and numerous industry experts are on the docket.
Columbus McKinnon will co-present with Reed Rigging, a top CM Entertainment Distributor in the Midwest. Reed has completed a number of high-profile installations in the Chicago metro area, as well as provided the CM Lodestar Electric Chain Hoists that are used extensively in the exhibit hall.
Members of the Columbus McKinnon Training Team, Tom Reardon and Peter Cooke, will sit on a panel discussion exploring regulations and training as they relate to overhead crane operators, below-the hook rigging, and signal persons. One of the primary topics for discussion will be the revision of OSHA Mobile Crane Regulations.
